A ride from a neighbor.
Somebody is driving to the courthouse on Tuesday and has an empty seat. Somebody else has a hearing at nine and no way to get there. That is the whole thing. Nobody is dispatched, nobody is rated out of five, nobody is deactivated by an algorithm, and there is no company standing between the two of you taking a cut of it.
Right now, every ride here is free. The cost-sharing lane — where a rider chips in toward what the trip actually costs — is closed until it has been reviewed properly. So please don’t arrange money off the site in the meantime, and if somebody asks you for any, report it. That one rule is what keeps this a board of neighbors rather than an unlicensed cab company.
Nobody has posted a ride in Missouri City yet.
That is the honest state of it rather than an error. If you are driving somewhere this week, posting the seat is how this starts — and if you need to get somewhere, say so and let somebody answer.
