Post a ride.
Either you are driving somewhere and have room, or you need to get somewhere and do not. Both belong on the board, and the second one is not the lesser half of it.
Rides posted today are free. There is no amount field on this form yet, and that is deliberate — the cost-sharing lane is closed until it has been reviewed. Please don’t put a price in the notes instead.
What does not go on this board
- Carrying somebody else's child without an adult they belong to. There is no version of this we can supervise.
- Medical transport that needs a licensed or equipped vehicle — a stretcher, a wheelchair lift, oxygen. A neighbor's back seat is not an ambulance and cannot be made into one.
- Charging a fare, or taking a profit on a ride. Sharing what the trip cost is a different thing, and it has a ceiling.
- Carrying goods for hire. That needs authority a driver here does not have, and deliveries have their own board.
- Driving without a current licence, current insurance, or on a suspended one.
- For-hire carriage across a state line, which needs federal authority nobody here holds.
- Carrying cash, packages or valuables for somebody else.
- Anything you cannot say honestly what it is or how you came by it.
