No money moves through this site. Sellers say what they’re asking and which apps they take — cash, Venmo, whatever you both already use — and you pay them directly. There is no fee, no deposit and no card on file, because the moment a platform holds the money for a used lawnmower it stops being neighbors and starts being a middleman with a rake.

Find something, say you’ll take it, and wait for the seller to confirm. When they do — and only then — you get the exact meeting spot, their notes about it, and the payment handle if they take one. Then you go, you look at the thing, and you settle up between yourselves.
The meeting spot is never on a public page — not on the shelf, not on the listing, not to a moderator. A listing that said parking lot on Valley, Saturday at six, cash, $400 guitar would be a robbery with a published time and place. Meet somewhere public in daylight when you can; it costs nothing and it is the whole safety plan.
The Fair Deal Agreement is signed once by everybody who lists or claims, and it carries the list of what does not go on the table.
